basically, I'll be back, it's not like I (we) ever went anywhere but
the country, the time, have until now not caught up to itself, Bill has
said of America (not a direct quote) that it's "the betrayal of the
greatest dream in human history..." please don't take this the wrong
way, it's said in a spirit of bitter, sad irony, not anger or anti- American
sentiment, he and I love it here, disappointment, rampant anti-intellectualism,
Bond vs. Rambo, think it out; "Nerds", why is it bad to be smart?
so the brute [bully] wins? this is good? nice? whatever. So we are here,
U.S.A.,[fill in your city & state] the earth, the galaxy, the universe
etc. with that big empty hole in the middle of the culture, the one that's
filled with violence, drugs, poverty, aids, the lack of faith, "money
is your god", the lack of family. I often wonder where the half-million
who were at woodstock are. But I really know: they're lawyers, real estate,
used and new cars, aluminum siding. How could we [MY GENERATION] do this
to you!? What happened to our heart, guts, not to mention principles, honor,
